PROFESSORS – UNY Yogyakarta has again inaugurated 4 new professors from various scientific fields. The inauguration ceremony for the title of professor was held on Saturday (20/7/2024) in the Main Meeting Room of the UNY Rectorate.
The professors who were inaugurated came from 4 faculties, namely the Faculty of Education and Psychology, the Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Law and Political Sciences, and the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The Professors in the Field of Non-Formal Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education and Psychology are: Prof. Dr. Puji Yanti Fauziah, S.Pd., M.Pd. Then, the Professor in the Field of English Language Learning at the Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture is Prof. Ashadi, S.Pd., M.Hum., Ed.D. Furthermore, the Professor in the Field of Social Studies Education Curriculum Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Law and Political Sciences is Prof. Dr. Supardi, S.Pd., M.Pd and Professor in the Field of Accounting Learning Science at the Faculty of Economics and Business is Prof. Dr. Siswanto, M.Pd.
On that occasion, UNY Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, Mkes, AIFO said, UNY always has a commitment to improving the quality of its teaching staff. One of them is by continuing to propose the appointment of professors to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
Because, UNY plans that in one year there will be at least 3 inaugurations of the title of Professor for lecturers who have met the requirements for their rank.
Therefore, his party gives appreciation to lecturers who have achieved the highest academic title in their careers so far. (*)
