NATURE — A total of 6 artists displayed paintings entitled “Nature Relaxation” at the Amaranta Prambanan Hotel. They are Dwipo Hadi, Aris Retno, Febritayustyani, – Indira Bunyamin, N Rinaldy and Pratiwi Endang Lestari.
The exhibition, which will be held until November 2024, is intended to provide adequate space for expression for talented artists in Yogyakarta.
Firdha Lail Agusta as General Manager of the Amaranta Prambanan Hotel, said that this exhibition is a manifestation of the Amaranta Prambanan Hotel’s commitment to facilitating space for artists to display their best works, while providing an enchanting artistic experience for visitors.
“Amaranta has been very focused on environmental sustainability since it was founded 3 years ago. Therefore, this Painting Exhibition further emphasizes the identity of this hotel which cares about nature,” said Firdha in her speech.
Then, Firdha added, as a newly established hotel, Amaranta continues to strive to innovate in various fields, especially in terms of service to guests. However, one thing that is maintained is the natural and natural atmosphere of this hotel.
The ‘Nature Relaxation’ exhibition held at Amaranta Prambanan is a kind of small reunion for artists in Yogyakarta. A number of artists took the time to see 17 paintings on display.
Exhibition Curator Dwipo Hadi said that the ‘Nature Relaxation’ Painting Exhibition was deliberately conceptualized so that visitors to the exhibition could rest from all the fatigue of daily life. Therefore, a number of works on display are also very simple and do not require much contemplation.
“Almost all of the works that Im curate contain natural elements such as symbols of flowers, water, nature. This indicates that nature is very inspiring for artists so that the curation is very easy. ” said Hadi
Based on several works displayed, continued Hadi, the artists are very clearly seen to be sensitive to nature. Therefore, the exhibition also becomes a space for dialogue between artists and nature.
Meanwhile, artist Nasirun said, since the emergence of culture, nature has been able to provide inspiration for humans to create works. Then, for an artist, that inspiration is manifested in paintings through various media. This is because nature holds undeniable beauty and can provide relaxation for those who enjoy it.
“Natural beauty truly belongs to God. Only certain talented people are disturbed by their souls and then give value to beauty. And artists immortalize God’s beauty through their paintings. ” said Nasirun.
