MOTOCROSS – Lantian Juan successfully won the 2024 Trial Game Dirt (TGD) Third Series General Champion title in Yogyakarta which took place on August 23-24, 2024, at the Jogja Expo Center Arena, Yogyakarta. This title was won because Lantian scored the highest accumulated points in Heat 1 to Heat 4 from a combination of two main classes, namely FFA Open and Mixed Open.
With a total of 50 points, Lantian Juan felt very proud to be able to hold the title of 2024 Trial Game Dirt Yogyakarta Series General Champion, as well as being motivated to defend the title in the next series. The rider with starting number 12 managed to score full points in the two main classes he participated in, namely FFA 25 points and Mixed Open 25 points.
“Heat 4 was very tight, my and Excel’s time records were very close. I tried to focus so as not to fall, because in Heat 1 yesterday I fell when passing the big foot jump obstacle,” said Lantian.
In the main class, FFA, Lantian Juan was the fastest with a total of 59 points. Meanwhile, M. Excel had to be satisfied in second place with a total of 58 points. Meanwhile, the racer from Boyolali, Asep Lukman, followed in third place with a total of 56 points. In the other main class, namely Mixed Open, Lantian Juan was also unbeatable with a total of 87 points collected from Heat 1 to Heat 4. 10 points behind, M. Excel had to submit to second place with a total of 77 points. In third place was Savona Oky with a total of 73 points.
Fierce competition also occurred in the Mixed Non-seeded class. Rivaldi Julian managed to record full points in Heat 1 and Heat 2, with a best time of 02:00.476. Meanwhile, Athaya Sena had to be satisfied with second place with a total of 42 points with a best time of 02:05.391 in Heat 1 and Heat 2. Despite falling during Heat 2 and Heat 4, Mochammad Rihan managed to occupy third place with a total of 38 points with a best time of 02:06.762.
Meanwhile, in the additional FFA Master class, Wahyu Gareng Wijayanto excelled over his opponents thanks to a total of 47 points from Heat 1 and Heat 2. Following behind him was Andy Suryanto with the same total of 47 points. Andy had to give up first place after his time in Heat 2 was beaten by Wahyu Gareng. Next, Djohan Irawan filled third place with a total of 40 points.
Agnes Wuisan from 76Rider as the organizer, appreciated the enthusiasm of the riders and the welcome from motocross and grasstrack racing activists and fans in the Third Series of Trial Game Dirt 2024. The spectacular actions of the crossers on the extreme track full of obstacles were considered successful in entertaining the audience during the two days of the race. He hopes that the same enthusiasm and spirit will also be seen in the next two, Solo (September 27-28) and Malang (October 11-12).
