CELLULAR — In line with the company’s positive national performance above, Indosat Regional Central Java & DIY also recorded promising growth until the first semester of 2024. This is reflected in the increase in data traffic of up to 5.6% YoY, in line with the increase in the number of quality customers by more than 140 thousand customers YoY until the end of June 2024.
Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison said, This achievement cannot be separated from Indosat’s commitment to continue expanding and improving network quality, as well as presenting a marvelous experience for all its customers. As a form of this commitment, the total 4G BTS in the Central Java & DIY region has increased by almost 2,300 4G BTS or an increase of 10% YoY until the end of June 2024.
“As part of strengthening its core business, the Company has operated around 188,000 4G BTS, adding around 22,000 4G BTS during the first half of 2024. This significant expansion is complemented by the deployment of 103 5G BTS, which confirms Indosat’s commitment to advancing its network infrastructure. ” said Vikram in an online Press Conference Tuesday (30/7/2024)
Then Vikram added, by increasing its coverage and capacity, Indosat ensures a better customer experience that drives higher customer loyalty and satisfaction. This effort directly contributed to an increase in average revenue per user (ARPU) of 10.5% YoY for cellular customers, now reaching IDR 37,900. Against this ARPU Growth is evidence of the Company’s strategic initiative to provide superior service and value to its users, thus strengthening its position in the competitive telecommunications market.
