FASHION — Kotagede Sub-district is again holding Kotagede Got Talent . The event, which was held in the yard of Kotagede Sub-district, was attended by 69 participants.
Kotagede Civil Service Officer, Komaru Ma’arif, said that the KMB event is a form of commitment and appreciation from the ranks of Kotagede Sub-district in supporting the arts and culture of the community in the area.
“This is also to explore the various potentials of the residents. This event is an annual event. This year is the 9th year,” he said when opening the event, Friday Night (12/7/2024).

This year, one of the competitions that really attracted the public’s attention was the Fashion Show Competition specifically for mothers. This competition carries the theme Kotagede Berkebaya. This competition is intended as an effort to preserve kebaya clothing which is the nation’s cultural heritage.
The winners of the competition will receive a trophy and cash with a total amount of IDR 15,000,000.
“The first winner will get a prize of Rp. 1,500,000 while the second and third winners will get a prize of Rp. 1,000,000 and Rp. 500,000,” he said. (*.)
