ALESSA — a pop band from Majalengka, released a hit song from top soloist Astrid entitled “Jadikan Aku Yang Kedua” on July 17, 2024. This original song from Astrid was released in 2007. This time Alessa had the opportunity to rearrange Astrid’s song with a more modern version.
This hit song is a very popular song with pathetic lyrics, where there is a third person’s desire to continue being in the wrong relationship. “If everything is different, You are not the one I adore, But my heart has chosen you Even though you can’t leave it” are lyrics that Alessa personnel find very painful.
Produced by Ivan Dewanto, Alessa managed to create a more modern color for this song by adding new colors. “In our opinion, this song was previously very characteristic and extraordinary, we had the opportunity to add a few new colors to make it more modern.” said the band fronted by Putri (vocalist), Elton (guitarist) and Andri (drummer).
As for the music video for the song Jadikan Aku yang Kedua, Alessa and Giri Maulana created 2 music video concepts where in one of the music videos Alessa will play with Astrid.
Although this song tells a tragic story, Alessa hopes that the single “Jadikan Aku yang Kedua” can be accepted and become a new atmosphere for previous connoisseurs.
